Happy Tuesday babes! I wanted to share my gifts for KIDS guide, specifically featuring learning toys! Jack and Char both get spoiled throughout the year with toys (thanks Nana!), so for Christmas I really like to focus on educational toys. It eases my mom-guilt a little, haha!
Here’s a roundup of some of the best educational toys & products I’ve found and am considering getting for Jack (who is 3 1/2)! I think I’ll be doing a separate one for Charlie, who needs toys for a younger age group that have a lot of sensory input. CLICK ANY GIFT FOR KIDS ABOVE TO SHOP!
I’ve heard great things about these Bob Books, and there are tons of different varieties of these. We’re very much in the alphabet/letters/numbers/reading zone over here with Jack right now, so I’m pumped to start using these Bobs Books with him.
I’ve also heard great things about these Kindle Fire7 Kids Edition tablets. Jack isn’t allowed to have the iPad or phones at home, but we usually cave in when we’re at restaurants or when I need to take them shopping with me. I plan on loading this baby up with educational games and using it as a replacement for the iPad. I’m thinking about getting him these headphones too for plane rides and such.
We already have these magnetic alphabet letters, but I’ve quickly realized you can’t have too any of those so I’m snagging some more! Jack has also been crazy fascinated with water lately… more specifically, with the water in everyone’s drinking glasses which he loves to drop things into (#eyeroll), so I think we’re going to get him one of these water and sand tables (loving the looks of this one too) and see if that pulls him off the scent of our drinking glasses. 🙂
What am I missing guys? Any killer learning gifts for kids that have been on your radar that I need to add to my list?
On another note: several places extended their Cyber Monday sales one more day!
Old Navy is still 50% off everything, no exclusions, so I’ll be buying clothes for the kids from there today. And it’s Cyber Week at Target and Amazon, so I’ll be double checking those places on the daily all week long.
West Elm and all their sister companies (Pottery Barn, PB Kids and Teen, William Sonoma, Rejuvenation, & Mark & Graham) extended their Cyber Monday sale one more day! I ended up buying two of these standing planters in a frenzie at like 11:55 pm, as well as this rosette colored blanket, just to find out that they extended one day! Haha! I’m sure they won’t do that again though, so if you have holiday decor or home decor on your wish list, I’d pull the trigger today!
What did YOU end up buying yesterday? Anything still on your list?
Happy Tuesday and Happy Shopping!
